Elite watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has brought its high-tech line of luxury watches to The Villa Menlo Park, opening the doors of its flagship US store on March 18. The new boutique, the Swiss watchmaker’s only stand-alone store in North America, establishes a highly anticipated West Coast outpost for the innovative Swiss watchmaker. Alongside partner Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, Ulysse Nardin hosted an intimate group of watch enthusiasts for a ribbon-cutting celebration, offering the first chance to experience the site-specific boutique design by Bertrand Fairerol.
The boundary-pushing horologists at Ulysse Nardin combine innovation with tradition, leading to tech-forward design breakthroughs like the introduction of silicon in the movement. Patrick Pruniaux, Chairman and CEO of Ulysse Nardin said, “Ulysse Nardin has been advancing watchmaking since 1846, and we’re excited to highlight our innovation—pioneering silicon technology into watchmaking—with a new flagship boutique in the heart of Silicon Valley.” The Villa Menlo Park is now home to several high-end, watch-centric brand boutiques, including Swiss watchmakers MB&F and H. Moser & Cie., German safe maker Buben & Zörweg and the Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry boutique.
