On April 2, art enthusiasts gathered at San Francisco’s California College of the Arts (CCA) to get the first look at an exciting new exhibit featuring some of the Bay Area’s most renowned women artists. Titled Reunited, the show represents twelve local artists from the National Museum of Women in the Arts’ Women to Watch program, an exhibition series featuring emerging and underrepresented artists.
The CCA Campus Gallery filled with a buzzy energy, as artists and community members came together to celebrate the impact and excellence of women in the arts. On view through May 17, the exhibition features work by acclaimed artists such as Nicki Green, Genevieve Quick, Lava Thomas and Adia Millett, among others–twelve women in total whose creative careers have been driven by resilience and artistic excellence.
