Marshawn Lynch Headlines Star-Studded Gala to Raise Funds for Finding Kids Org

On May 6, a roster of A-list celebrities and local luminaries gathered at Saint Joseph’s Art Society in San Francisco to raise funds to support some of the Bay Area’s most vulnerable children. The first annual Mission Possible Gala benefits Special Operations – Finding Kids, an organization that works with retired law enforcement and other investigators to find missing and exploited children. Retired NFL legend Marshawn Lynch, Governor Gavin Newsom and the Honorable Willie Brown all lent their star power to an event that raised over $850,000 to fund Finding Kids’ critical services. 

Over 200 guests enjoyed an evening that included a lively cocktail reception, followed by a luxurious seated dinner provided by Componere Culinary & Events. The program also featured an exciting live auction, an awards presentation and moving personal testimonials. Founded in 2017, Finding Kids works to protect the Bay Area’s missing and at-risk children from child trafficking. The organization employs retired law enforcement, boots-on-the-ground private investigators, cyber intelligence, and advocacy services to support youth and families in crisis.
