On March 2, model and actor Kabir McNeely commemorated his 20th birthday with an elegant pre-Academy Awards gathering at the historic Herbst Manor in San Francisco. The occasion was also a celebration of his upcoming feature directorial debut, titled Fallaway. The occasion brought together an array of special guests, from McNeely’s family and friends to Hollywood industry insiders. Notable attendees included actress and singer Bettina Devin, known for her role as Idina Menzel’s mother in the film adaptation of Rent, and Fallaway co-star Christian Puentes.
The heartfelt toasts and birthday wishes that day were led by McNeely’s proud dads, lawyer and business executive Ken McNeely and dermatologist Inder Dhillon. McNeely’s previous roles include his turn as the titular Moe in the award-winning short film My Name Is Moe, and a supporting role in American Conservatory Theater’s mainstage production of A Christmas Carol. With a number of upcoming projects including John Lacy’s Hollywood-set drama Everyone Asked About You, McNeely’s 20th year promises exciting times ahead.
