As political upheaval weighs heavily on inbound international tourism, a new campaign from Brand USA, the nation’s destination marketing organization, will promote global enthusiasm for travel to the U.S.
America the Beautiful
This is a tribute to the breathtaking landscapes, bustling cities, and warm hospitality that make the U.S. a must-visit destination. Through this global initiative launching in August 2025, travelers are invited to see themselves in destinations across the USA—from energetic cities to the great outdoors—and the incredible people they’ll meet along the way.

“The new campaign is a storytelling platform that will give the world a fresh lens through which to see the United States,” according to Brand USA officials. “Visitors come to do more than see America. They come to feel it, to connect with our people, explore our landscapes, and experience our stories. America the Beautiful gives us a new way to tell those stories and invite the world to be part of them.”
A Landmark Year for Events
From the original colonies to the wild west, in 2026 the United States will celebrate a landmark year, hosting major anniversaries, global events, and exciting sports tournaments.

America the Birthday—America the Boundless—America the Big Stage—America the Beautiful—highlights include:
America250, the official celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, will kick off in 2026 bringing a yearlong celebration of the nation’s history, culture, and future with special events, exhibitions, and programming in all 50 states.

The legendary Route 66, America’s original road trip, will honor its own centennial, 100 years of road trip culture with events and experiences across its historic path from Chicago to Santa Monica.

FIFA World Cup 2026, staged across North America, will take over nearly a dozen cities in the U.S., with soccer matches taking place across various regions. Host citiesin the U.S. are Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Seattle from June 11 to July 19., 2026.
