A crowd turned out at San Francisco SPCA Maddie’s Adoption Center on Florida Street to mix, mingle, and meet some of the cutest potential adoptees the organization has to offer. On November 14, Fluffy kittens and frisky puppies joined SF SPCA supporters for the 2nd annual “Meet the Stars” reception, to introduce the animals who will star in the Macy’s Union Square holiday windows.
SF SPCA leaders, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jennifer Scarlett, Board Chair Curt Kirschner, and Board Vice Chair Leslie Baker, led a program that featured a lively round of “Fund-A-Need” and entertainment from event emcee DJ Freska of 96.5 Radio. This marks the 38th year the SF SPCA has sponsored the Holiday Windows fundraiser, which benefits their many animal welfare programs. Holiday Windows runs from November 22 through December 31 at Macy’s Union Square, and funds raised will help ensure that San Francisco animals stay healthy and safe until they find their forever homes.
