Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area Launch Big Futures Program at Annual Gala

Each year, Bay Area Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area gathers its friends and supporters for a night of fun and community at their annual benefit gala. The 2025 event was doubly festive, as attendees were also celebrating the new Big Futures Program. Big Futures extends Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area’s services to young people past age 18, providing much-needed college and career resources to guide them in the next phase of life.

On March 21, nearly 300 guests were welcomed to San Francisco’s Julia Morgan Ballroom, for an evening of uplift courtesy of some very inspirational speakers. For the first time at the gala, four “Littles” from the program shared their stories of life-changing mentorship and support. Camila, a newly minted Big Futures participant, spoke about her powerful decade-long bond with her Big, Amanda. Another highlight was an appearance by Bay Area Alumni Little and Buffalo Bills star rookie running back, Ray Davis. This year’s gala raised $715,000 toward the support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area’s no-fee youth mentoring services.
