Breast Cancer Prevention Partners Hosts Luminary Gala 2025 in San Francisco

On May 8, Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP) hosted its annual Luminary Gala at San Francisco’s Julia Morgan Ballroom to activate, inspire, and engage. Throughout the evening, BCPP leaders offered compelling insights into BCPP’s strategic vision, and its urgent call to action: to prevent breast cancer now for the sake of future generations.

The assembled guests rallied behind the organization’s focus on addressing the rise in breast cancer diagnoses among younger women—an alarming trend that underscores why prevention must start early. The evening also honored individuals and organizations making strides in prevention, while a live auction and heartwarming fund-a-need rounded out the night’s program. Thanks to the generosity of gala attendees, BCPP exceeded its fundraising goal, raising more than half a million dollars to advance breast cancer prevention. The funds will support science-based advocacy, prevention legislation, community education, and policy initiatives aimed at eliminating toxic exposures.
