Dress for Success San Francisco, a nonprofit employment resource for women and women-aligned individuals, this year served up their annual gala with a side of funk at their first-ever Disco Ball. The Ball, a dazzling new gala experience for supporters, debuted on May 3 at Terra Gallery. More than 300 guests showed up in their very best sequins and feathers, ready for a night of glamor, storytelling and shared purpose in support of Bay Area women building brighter futures.
Attendees embraced the theme with gusto, highlighting Studio 54 glam, while costumed performers in head-to-toe mirrored ensembles greeted guests with a truly immersive welcome. Attendees enjoyed wine from Wente Family Vineyards, a caviar reception courtesy The Caviar Co. and faux casino games from Full House Games. San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie and former Mayor Willie L. Brown were just two of the local luminaries who came out support the mission of Dress for Success: to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
