Family House San Francisco Hosts Magical Annual Gala at Ritz-Carlton Hotel

There was something for everyone at this year’s Family House San Francisco gala, with the cancer support organization pulling out all the stops to create a night to remember. Fittingly dubbed “Magic Gala 2025,” the night’s festivities included a special performance by Catalyst Arts Cirque performers, who wowed guests with a dazzling combination of dance, contortion and acrobatics. But the fun didn’t stop there–before the night was over partiers enjoyed an exciting live auction, dinner and dancing, and even had their fortunes told by a roaming Tarot reader.

Attendees first sat for an elegant meal, featuring delightful spring dishes like seared halibut and a fig and green apple tart, served alongside a selection of Eco Terrano wines. The lively paddle raise that followed gave bidders a chance to claim once-in-a-lifetime luxury experiences. Since 1981, Family House San Francisco has provided free housing and basic needs for the families of seriously ill young patients being treated at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from this year’s gala will ensure that all Family House services continue to be provided 100% free of charge.
