NAPA COUNTY, CA– Napa County Board Supervisor Liz Alessio proudly announces that NEWS, the county’s domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center, will be the beneficiary of the highly anticipated 5th Annual Harvest Hoedown. This premier fundraising event will take place on Saturday, August 16th at 5:00 PM at the picturesque D’Ambrosio Vineyards in Napa County.

The evening promises an unforgettable experience with Nashville’s own country powerhouse Morgan Myles headlining the event. Known for her soulful and captivating vocals, Myles will bring a touch of Nashville charm to Napa Valley’s vineyards.

Guests will be treated to a culinary journey featuring welcome reception bites crafted by acclaimed Chef Kristine Schug, savory BBQ prepared by Robin Baggett of Alpha Omega Winery, and a selection of local wines. The event will also include exciting silent and live auctions offering exclusive local wines and unique Napa experiences.
“We are incredibly honored that Supervisor Alessio has chosen NEWS as this year’s beneficiary,” said Tracy Lamb, Executive Director of NEWS. “This event directly supports the children in our youth programs, kids who have witnessed domestic violence or experienced sexual assault and need specialized support to heal and thrive.”
Since 1981, NEWS has been a vital resource in Napa County, providing crisis intervention, shelter, and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. In 2024 alone, NEWS helped provide safety to over 1,800 individuals and reached more than 1,200 children through prevention and support programs.
“Children who witness domestic violence often carry invisible wounds,” Lamb explained. “Our youth programs provide these children with trusted adults who believe them and the chance to simply be kids again. Every ticket purchased helps fund support groups, dedicated children’s advocates, and activities that teach these children they matter and deserve love.”
The Harvest Hoedown has quickly become one of Napa County’s premier charitable events, bringing the community together for a worthy cause. Early bird tickets are available for $195 through July 15, with regular admission priced at $225 thereafter. Corporate sponsorships and tables are also available for those wishing to show additional support.
Join the Harvest Hoedown to enjoy live music, gourmet food, fine wine, and the spirit of community all while supporting children and families healing from trauma in Napa County.
