The Junior League of San Francisco (JLSF) came together at the Palace Hotel on October 18, to honor San Francisco’s prominent women leaders and celebrate its own 113-year history of service in San Francisco. It was a fabulous event with an uplifting program full of sisterhood and celebration.
Each year, JLSF acknowledges two exceptional individuals who have devoted their time, energy and resources to give back to the broader community. This year’s honorees were community leader and JLSF member Carol Benz, and philanthropist Peggy Haas. The gala was hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Thuy Vu Thuy. Said JLSF President Kalla Vieaux, “It is always a pleasure to bring together the community to honor women dedicated to making a difference.”
The Junior League of San Francisco is a non-profit organization with a rich history of community engagement and a mission to empower women as leaders. For over a century, JLSF has remained steadfast in its dedication to creating a positive impact in San Francisco.
