Neiman Marcus Serves Up Food and Fashion at Cafe Society Dinner

When guests gathered under the familiar, soaring Rotunda at Neiman Marcus for dinner recently, there was more than oysters and champagne on the menu–though of course there was that, too. On February 26 Neiman Marcus San Francisco debuted its multi-platform Spring campaign, Café Society, with a celebration of the vibrant synergy between high fashion and haute cuisine. The dinner is part of Cafe Society’s 360-degree campaign to present images, events and promotions across digital, social and print media, and also IRL.

Guests at the dinner, co-presented with Sotheby’s and featuring Neiman Marcus Executive Chef Jessica Oost, enjoyed an elegant menu of oysters veloute, baked Camembert in phyllo and braised short rib. The luscious dinner was accompanied by rare wines like 2022 Domaine Etienne Delarche Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru ‘Creux de la Net.’ Dinner was also paired with a live runway show offering a sneak peek at the season’s freshest trends. Said Neiman Marcus Chief Brand Officer Nabil Aliffi, “Today, more than ever, designers and brands are finding inspiration in the vibrant culinary world, weaving its rich textures, colors and artistry into the fabric of fashion.”
