Lovers of freedom and personal choice gathered in Palo Alto on October 10, for the 24th annual Reproductive Freedom Luncheon. Over 350 guests and longtime-supporters gathered at the Crowne Plaza hotel to raise much-needed funds at this moment of political urgency.
The program that afternoon was led by Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju. Timmaraju kicked things off with her engaging and informative keynote remarks. She then moderated a lively panel featuring podcaster and political commentator Danielle Moodie, social entrepreneur Aisha Becker-Burrowes and feminist digital creative Ky Polanco. Business coach Susan Hyatt also spoke, and VIP attendees included California Assemblymember Marc Berman.
Formerly known as NARAL, Reproductive Freedom for All’s mission is to support people’s freedom to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices through education, training, legal action, organizing and public policy advocacy. This year’s luncheon was a resounding success, raising more than $1.4 million in support of Reproductive Freedom for All’s programs and initiatives.
