Saint Joseph’s Arts Society Lights Up Art Week with Glam Preview Party

Saint Joseph’s Arts Society and its founder, Ken Fulk, recently hosted one of the most fabulous crowds to grace the galleries of San Francisco Art Week. On January 23, Saint Joseph’s Arts Society was the spot where those in the know congregated for a sneak peek at the new Andy Warhol photography exhibit ahead of its official opening. The night’s theme was Club Limelight, inspired by the storied NYC club in its 1980s heyday, when it was frequented by boundary-breaking celebrities like Warhol himself.

VIPs like John Waters came dressed in their best club kid attire, and joined Saint Joseph’s Arts Society supporters in exploring the collection of 20 rare Warhol photographs, which offer an intimate window into the artist’s world. Guests also got to experience immersive art installations, an appearance by DJ Juanita More! and live music inspired by 80s and 90s dance culture. Located in a revitalized former church and National Historic Landmark, Saint Joseph’s Arts Society is a cultural and creative hub dedicated to elevating the shared human experience through the cultivation of art and design.
