A decade of decadence reached its peak on July 19, as The Caviar Co.’s milestone National Caviar Day celebration lassoed Bay Area tastemakers for the tenth year in a row. This year the hosts splashed out for the most extravagant soiree yet, held at Saint Joseph’s Arts Society in San Francisco. The Caviar Co. co-founder Petra Higby’s Western-themed spectacular drew culinary luminaries including Hi Neighbor Hospitality’s Jason Halverson, Michelin-starred Chef Ollie from Hilda & Jesse and James Beard nominee Chef Jeff Whitekiller from Yokozuna, alongside Emmy-winning Fox reporter Betty Yu and venture partner Josh Constine for a night that perfectly balanced high-low style.
The Ken Fulk-designed venue transformed into an elevated Americana dreamscape featuring themed spaces from a VIP chef’s saloon to a Western film lounge and bustling mercantile. Guests discovered caviar in unexpected forms—corndogs topped with caviar, Wagyu beef sandwiches crowned with Osetra, and mini shrimp Cajun tacos topped with trout roe—while sipping Hampton Water rosé and refreshing Brez drinks between Miller High Life toasts. Content creators including Stephanie Chung, Kat Ensing and Johanna Izyohanna captured every rhinestone detail, as roaming caviar concierges from The Caviar Co. offered caviar bumps to hungry partygoers throughout the evening. The celebration’s irreverent spirit shone through ice luge vodka stations, trick rope performances and line dancing, proving that after ten years, this sister-founded company continues to make the world’s finest delicacy irresistibly approachable.
