On May 28, San Francisco Opera Guild–a music and arts education organization–teamed up with partner Neiman Marcus to once again present a fundraising event, which featured a pre-party, a luncheon and a live The Art of Fashion runway show all held at Neiman Marcus’ San Francisco store. The event trained the spotlight on the latest fashion trends, while supporting the future of music education in the Bay Area.
The fashionable festivities kicked off with a champagne reception and a tempting selection of elegant nibbles provided by McCalls Catering. Guests were then ushered into a dining area transformed by vivid spring florals, to enjoy a multi-course luncheon accompanied by wine from Scharffenberger Cellars and Castellucci Napa Valley. But the afternoon’s true centerpiece was the exciting runway show, which offered a sneak peek at the latest collections from renowned designers like Brunello Cucinelli, Carolina Herrera, Etro, Libertine, Michael Kors and Tom Ford. Funds raised at this year’s event will support the Opera Guild’s education programs, which benefit Bay Area students of all ages.
