SF Opera’s Biggest Boosters Raise a Glass at Gallery 181

An exclusive list of San Francisco VIPs gathered on August 29 at Gallery 181 on the 69th level of 181 Fremont in support of a favorite cause: the San Francisco Opera’s season-opening Opera Ball, which took place this year on September 6. 181 Fremont welcomed guests to the Gallery for a special salute to the chairs of this year’s Ball, Romana D. Bracco and Valerie Crane Dorfman.

The night opened with a welcome address from Jay Paul Company’s Chief Investment Officer, Matt Lituchy, who thanked everyone working behind the scenes to make this year’s Opera Ball possible, and continued with a salute to the chairs and a special preview from San Francisco Opera General Director Matthew Shilvock of the spectacular production that would open the season. Funds raised from the annual Opera Ball support the Opera’s artistic initiatives and a wide range of community and education programs.
