The 42nd Annual Fall Show Embraces the Season with Panache

On October 16, the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason was transformed by an elegant symphony of black and white decor for a highlight of the social calendar, the Fall Show. This year the opening night gala showcased the best in antiques, art and design, while treating guests to an evening of food, drink and convivial company.

More than 1800 revelers flocked to Fort Mason to behold what the VIP event chairs had made of this year’s Black & White theme. Co-chairs Aerin Lauder, founder and Creative Director of AERIN, and Carolina Herrera Creative Director Wes Gordon ensured the space was filled with an aura of both sophistication and innovation. A delectable buffet offered caviar and the event’s famous lamb chops, which guests enjoyed while sipping bubbly and tapping their toes to lively music.

In addition to the superstar co-chairs, notable attendees that evening included Diane Wilsey, Suzanne Tucker and Yurie and Carl Pascarella. The gorgeous Bay views of the event space provided a fitting backdrop for the gorgeous spectacular objets and art on display, and for the glamorous guests decked out in their black and white finery. The Fall Show is the longest-running art and antiques show on the west coast, and each year it dazzles by offering a glimpse into the exciting future of design.
