The Guardsmen Host a Night of Elegance at Annual Wine Tasting Benefit

On February 22 The Guardsmen, a philanthropic organization supporting youth education and enrichment, hosted its 48th annual wine tasting and auction at the Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco. The grand celebration brought together wine connoisseurs, community leaders, and changemakers, all united in their commitment to supporting under-resourced Bay Area children through education and enrichment opportunities.

The evening, which was sponsored by Northern Trust, kicked off with the Changemakers Reception, where guests gathered to honor those who have made an impact on the lives of underserved youth. Attendees then moved to the hotel’s famed Garden Court for a wine tasting and silent auction, featuring over thirty top-tier wineries including Larkmead, ADAMVS and Repris. The silent auction showcased an extraordinary collection of luxury items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, which led to a spirited round of bidding in support of The Guardsmen’s mission. Proceeds from the evening will help fund nearly 220 private school scholarships annually, and also fund campership opportunities for over 2000 Bay Area children from underserved communities.
