Table tennis excitement took over the Bay Area as the 2025 ITTF Pan American Cup unfolded at the 888 Table Tennis Center in Burlingame, the designated National Training Center for USA Table Tennis. From February 18 to 23, top athletes from across the Americas battled for continental glory in a tournament filled with speed, skill, and fierce competition.
As part of the festivities, an exclusive reception honored players, fans, and distinguished guests. Three-time Olympian and Bay Area native Kanak Jha claimed the men’s singles title, while Brazil’s Bruna Takahashi defended her women’s singles championship for a second straight year. Team USA Olympians Lily Zhang and Amy Wang also made their mark, earning silver and bronze in the women’s singles event.
During the event, Huifen Chan, President and Founder of 888, was recognized by the International Table Tennis Federation in the Americas for her outstanding leadership. The center also received the prestigious designation as ITTF Americas’ High Performance Training Center.
With thrilling matches and historic achievements, the 2025 ITTF Pan American Cup further cemented the Bay Area’s status as a hub for elite table tennis.
