On October 30 Project Glimmer’s annual See It, Believe It, Be It benefit and luncheon was held at Terra Gallery in San Francisco. Project Glimmer’s mission is to inspire all girls to envision and realize an empowered future, and this year’s luncheon celebrated two women who are inspirations to girls everywhere: Chef Dominique Crenn and Birdies shoe company co-founder Bianca Gates.
The day’s festivities included a live/online auction, and a chance to do some shopping at the Empower Market, which featured female-owned, local brands such as Ashley Morgan Designs and Tuk & Lu. The luscious spread on offer was provided by Paula LeDuc Fine Catering & Events. All proceeds from See It, Believe It, Be It will directly support Project Glimmer’s programs that build confidence and readiness, and provide pathways to an empowered future. Since its founding in 2010, Project Glimmer has positively impacted over 1 million teenage girls and women in all 50 states.
