Silverado Resort’s Chef’s Garden is an Al Fresco Delight

The Silverado Resort, a legendary golf-centric retreat nestled amidst picturesque vineyards, is opening its gates beyond the greens to the Chef’s Garden every other Sunday, starting August 4th.

Picture a communal table stretching out in the middle of a verdant oasis, with colossal sunflowers standing guard and tomato plants flaunting their vibrant fruits in a kaleidoscope of colors, including an otherworldly purple variety cheekily dubbed ‘Kryptonite.’ This is where Chef Patrick Prager and Pastry Chef Devon Pritchard will work their culinary magic, treating guests to a farm-to-table brunch with deep local roots.



Expect a sumptuous lineup of dishes that sing of summer, such as a quiche bursting with garden-fresh vegetables, tangy fromage blanc, and fragrant herbs, all crowned with a generous dollop of crème fraiche. Sweet tooths will rejoice at the sight of crème fraiche coffee cake, slathered with sticky apricot preserves, and a garden strawberry roll with a luscious cream cheese anglaise.

Of course, this being Napa Valley, there’s also a rotating selection of crisp whites, light reds, and rosés from a featured winery partner — these vary based on the Chef’s rotating roster of local favorites.
