Breakthrough T1D Lights Up City Hall with Annual Hope Gala

Breakthrough T1D, the type 1 diabetes advocacy and research organization, gathered friends and supporters for its annual benefit gala on March 8. The Breakthrough T1D Northern California Chapter celebrated the 26th anniversary of its Hope Gala at the beautiful Beaux-Arts San Francisco City Hall, raising more than $1.4 million for T1D research. The party’s colorful masquerade theme saw masked performers in colorful garb arrayed across City Hall’s iconic staircase, welcoming guests to a night of lively celebration.

The evening featured a cocktail party where guests mingled with performers from Gregangelo’s Velocity Arts, a gourmet dinner, a live auction, an inspirational Fund-A-Cure program and dancing to the premier party band Hip Service. As one of the leading global T1D research and advocacy organizations, Breakthrough T1D works toward a cure by investing in the most promising research and helping educate and empower individuals living with this disease.
