On December 10 the Legion of Honor hosted one of the most glamorous holiday parties of the year: a black-tie event promising an “Elegant Evening in the Court of Honor.” The well-heeled guests gathered at the Legion for cocktails, dinner and dancing, to benefit educational programming at both the Legion of Honor and the de Young–together known as the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
Glasses of bubbly in hand, the lucky party guests were granted exclusive access to explore the Legion’s current hit exhibit, Mary Cassatt at Work. Guests then adjourned to a tent in the titular Court of Honor to enjoy a spectacular three-course supper under the stars by McCalls Catering, served alongside treats from The Caviar Co. The evening wrapped up with dancing to a live performance by The Bob Hardwick Sound, a joyful way for partygoers to welcome the holiday season with friends and fellow museum supporters.
