On July 13, San Francisco Magazine held their 23rd annual Best of the Bay event, a showcase of the finest the region has to offer in culinary, mixology and culture. People from all over the Bay made the pilgrimage into the heart of downtown San Francisco for a fabulous night of the finest food, drink and entertainment.
The annual gathering, which benefitted the V Foundation for Cancer Research, is designed to showcase every facet of the Bay Area’s vibrant cultural scene. Live entertainment from SF Jazz, DJ King Most and DJ TOY provided the soundtrack for guests enjoying an array of culinary delights, including fare from famous local chefs like Chef Tyler Florence, Chef Mourad Lalou of Mourad and Aziza, Chef Ray Lee from Akikos and Spruce’s Chef Mark Sullivan. Partiers also sipped on an impressive selection of beverages from top wineries and distilleries.
San Francisco Magazines Best of the Bay is a tribute to San Francisco’s vibrant culture, culinary excellence and community spirit. This year, the event coordinated with local civic pride movement It All Starts Here, to highlight the importance of our shared pride in the city’s past achievements and boundless future potential.
Contributions from local leaders and event sponsors helped make this year’s celebration a memorable experience, shining a light on what makes San Francisco such a special place to live, work and explore!
